Second Wave of Coronavirus Potentially Deadlier than Current Wave
There have been talks of a second wave of the novel Coronavirus coming this winter. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) director Robert Redfield points out the danger of this second wave due to it clashing with the annual flu season. The common flu already has a great impact and many do get the flu during the winter. The CDC estimates that 39,000,000-56,000,000 people got the flu during flu season. With such a high number, the chance of one getting the flu then the Coronavirus isn't low as their immune system would have its guard down. This would lead to critical health conditions and the death rate will increase. Flu shots are a necessity as without it, around the time of flu season, you will be in big trouble.
