Coronavirus and Smartphone Addiction
TheCoronavirus pandemic is currently sweeping over the world, and countries are under lockdown. Due to this lockdown, teenagers are not allowed to leave their houses or socialize with their peers, which is increasing the amount of time that teenagers spend on their smartphones. This may lead to an increase in teenager’s smartphone addiction making them feel helpless and desperate and reducing their subjective happiness. As a result, these feelings can negatively affect their mental health and increase the percentage of teen suicide.
